The First School Of Ancient Wigflying (FSAW) was founded by
Rob Tyler and Matt O'Riordan in 2001, at that time the FSAW
was the only institution available for people to learn the
art of human wig flight, Wigfly. It still is. Since
that time the FSAW has been dedicated to the research, development
of instructional methods, and instructing licensed skydiver's
Wigfly, and has accumulated more than 30 instructional
flights. This is the reason why the FSAW is the number one
choice of wigflyers from around the world.

SCHOOL
FLIGHT PRICE & CONTENT
The FSAW charges $1 for each instructional flight, this includes
ground briefing, in air video taken from the instructional
flight and post jump video debrief of their flight performance.
The student is also required to pay the cost of their slot
on the aircraft. They are welcome to pay our slot too, but
this is not required.
COMMUNICATION
IN WIGFLIGHT
Hand Signals: The instructor communicates with a variety of predetermined
hand signals and facial expressions (indicating the next target learning objective
or corrections in wig position) to the student. Hand signals are placed visibly
on the crotch (the students response and timing to these signals can be evaluated
during the post jump debrief).
Body Signal:: The instructor demonstrates a wigfly exercise, the student
evaluates the move and then attempts the same move. Used also for corrections
in body or wig position.
