The
ancient art of Wigflying dates from around 46bc, way before
freeflying even existed, let alone it becoming trademarked.
There
are many examples of people throughout history practising
this art, not always successfully however. Icarus, who
flew too close to the sun, was not undone by the wax melting
on his wings but by his wig catching fire. This shows
just why Wigflying is such a serious and potentially dangerous
skill to master.
Today,
the freeflywiggaz preach Wigflying to the masses. "Lucky
Matt" and "Dirty Rob" set up the First
School of Ancient Wigflying in 2001 as a means of safely
educating budding enthusiasts through a programme of progressive
lessons. Click here to find out more about what the F.S.A.W.
can offer YOU!
Please
remember, Wigflying should not be tried at home or without
the supervision of a Wigflight Instructor.
